and producer was featured in "Our Brand is Crisis" a Hollywood movie with Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton.

artisan designer from Thailand joined their talent and developed and produce
high quality ethnic handcrafts from each country, utilizing original ethnic
fabrics and hand woven textiles from Bolivia and Thailand. The items includes,
unique tribal handbags, colorful animal figure charms and key chains, fashion jewelry
made of alpaca silver mixed with semi precious stones, leather and ethnic
fabric, dream catchers, ceramic and bamboo whistles and trending toys for children,
Andean Flutes, musical instruments and Andes music recordings by Jacco Velarde and
his Andean Band “Vision Andina”.

Jacco
Velarde presents Vision Andina master class program, a musical journey of the
traditional Bolivian Aymara music and the contemporary music from the high
Andes and Latin America. Jacco Velarde performs dressed on his colorful
hand-woven poncho typical of the Andean region.

Vision Andina members are based in La Paz, Bolivia and all recordings are made in our digital studios in La Paz and mastered in Dallas, Texas.
Jacco Velarde and Vision Andina has been working and collaborating with major Bolivian artists since 1972 among then includes:
Ernesto Cavour, Alfredo Dominguez, Julio Godoy, Cesar Junaro, Cesar Espada, Donato Espinoza, Zulma Yugar, Percy Avila, Jose Zapata and many other international artists.

about jacco Velarde
Jacco
Velarde is one of Ernesto Cavour favored protégées. He
was a witness as well as a participant of the musical renaissance of the Peña Naira. Born in Sorata, Bolivia at
the foot of Mountain Illampu, he grew up listening to and participating in the
musical gatherings throughout the 60’s and 70’s traveling Latin America, USA
and Europe together with Ernesto Cavour and recording several albums with his
group as a quena player.
Jacco Velarde lives in Dallas, Texas
whiles Vision Andina Band and Production is based in La Paz, Bolivia.
Since 1990, Jacco Velarde
was part of prestigious art organizations such as, Young Audiences of North
Texas, Big Thought, Texas Arts Commissions, Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs
and Artist Director of UT Andean Ensemble. He was recently feature in the
Hollywood production movie “Our Brand is Crisis” with Sandra Bullock and Billy
Bob Thornton, filmed part in Bolivia and USA.
